Yesterday I watched Oprah at Hallmark and she showed this video to the audience.

So this the story from behind the scenes of this video


In 1969 a young Australian, John Rendall and his friend Ace Bourke, bought a small lion cub from Harrods pet department, which was then legal. 'Christian' was kept in the basement of a furniture shop on the Kings Road in Chelsea, the heart of the swinging sixties. Loved by all, the affectionate cub ate in a local restaurant, played in a nearby graveyard, but was growing fast... 

A chance encounter with Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna led to a new life for Christian. He came to live in a huge enclosure and to sleep in a caravan at their Surrey home. Then in 1971 he was flown to Kenya, his ancestral home, and returned to the wild by lion-man George Adamson. Nine months later in 1972, John and Ace returned to Kora in Kenya. This clip is of their reunion at that time.

It was an emotional reunion: "He ran towards us, threw himself onto us, knocked us over and hugged us, with his paws on our shoulders."

Okey, so it's been several months since i updated my last post. How i miss to blog! So now i've got time for it.

Actually, I have nothing to say about but just wanna share what I did this evening. I was in front of the computer and suddenly my mum called from the kitchen to help her. And I went down, lazily cause I felt kinda tired from morning doing tons of work ( cehh padahal mak aku suruh vacuum kereta ngn sapu rumah seciput tu je, gedik kau! ) Okey moving on..

At the kitchen,

mama : ni marina tolong mama buat jemput-jemput. mama da janji dgn nabila nak buat
me : huh? ( bnyk cekadak adik aku nak mntk-mntk ) grrrr
mama : tolong la, kejap je ni
me : yelaaaaaa~

My hands are a bit sloppy and gooeey at the same time. My mum argue about my hand job. Alaaa hard work laa tu mama.. Anyway everyone satisfy with it and I felt happy with my cooking. Yeahhhhhh aku berjayaaaaa!

Ouh yess, malam 12 Jun 2009, kami yang merangkumi joyah, eton, dan senah berchatting sambil berwebcaming di ym.
Sangat jakun sebab tak pernah buat bertiga dan berlakulah banyak masalah seperti muka tak nampak, muke terlebih comel semasa terpapar di skrin webcam tu. haihhh
Tapi kami berasa sangat-sangat seronok sebab dapat tengok muka-muka divas ni, haha

This holiday is kinda fun. Dapat jugak keluar dgn my BFF tapi azeera takde. huhuhu
Balik kampung for 4 days, quite boring. hohoho


Sekejap je dah nak balik penjara balik. Menanti debaran untuk dapat result for mid year exam.
Dah la parents kena datang. malunyaaaa...

OMJ, JONAS BROTHERS!!!

19th January 2009, I woke up at 4:45 in the morning. but I din't woke up exactly on that time, i snoozed my alarm on my handphone like 15 times I think. After i woke for the last time, I saw it was 5:30 AM! YIKES! I'm soooo freaking late! i quickly shower up myself, dress in my school uniform. and i quickly dashed to the computer outside my room. open up the internet. and there it was, millions, trillions of girl fans ( maybe some of the fans are boys, MAYBE ) are waiting for the three GORGEOUS, MOST HANDSOMENESS BOYS IN THE WORLD, the JONAS BROTHERS for the live webchat on justin.tv. they will start at 5:00pm Eastern time there, and 6:00 AM here in Malaysia.

But the thing is, I can't sign in!! sh*t! I was so freaking pissed that time. So as I was waiting for them to broadcast live here, suddenly there was a paper showed on the video. "5 MINUTES UNTIL THE JONAS BROTHERS LIVE WEBCHAT! ". and everyone started to freak out even more. and after 5 minutes waiting eagerly for them, they popped out on the screen! and they are so cute as usual of course.

Aaaahhhh! Joe is so adorable, ouh yeah nick is so darn cute too!

They officially broadcast here at 6:30 AM. and I was so late for school. so I got to see them just for 10-11 minutes I guess. but thank god i've got to see them. ouh what a relieved! : )

jalan jalan, perut berkeroncong

Pada hari yang mulia lagi indah ini, kita dengan family kita pegi jalan-jalan ke jb. tujuna keluar: mama kita malas, jap sopan sikit, kepenatan untuk memasak. kita semua pun pergi ke danga city mall. pertama kali tuu abah kita bawak pegi sane. cam jakun je mule mule masuk dalam tu. haha. misi kita semua untuk mencari sebuah tempat makan. kita pun mule bertanya kepasa orang-orang disekeliling mane lokasi tempat makan yang sebenar.

mama: boleh tanya, food court kat mane?
amoi lawa: dekat bawah, turun eskelater (esculator)
mama: ouh thank you ah

Kami pun bersama-sama turun ke bawah menaiki eskelater yang ditunjukkan amoi tersebut tu tadi. sampai-sampai bawah, kita tanya adik kita, "eh kita nak pegi mane daa???" adik kita jawab "tu pasaraya kat depan tu....ughh nak makan la ape lagi!". ouh oke. kita semua cari punye la cari tempat makan tu, tapi tak jumpe. tengah merayau-rayau kat tingkat tu, ternampak la satu tempat di mane sikuriti (security) tu bertenggek. haha

mama: ouh oke trima kasih eh

Memang nak kene tau amoi lawa tu tadi. buat penat kaki, lutut, buku lali, urat sendi aku je. ni nak kene naik atas balik. TINGKAT 4 PULAK TU! tapi takpe ade kemudahan kita gunekan. dah satu hal nak cari lif pulak dah. tanya lagi kat sikuriti guard dan akhirnya ketemu itu lif! nak pendekkan cerita, lepas habis menikmati santapan kami semua, kita telah memujuk abah kita untuk pergi main BOWLING! fuhh memang rekod dunia tu, 3 kali dalam satu bulan. padahal dah bertahun sebelum ni tak main. yeahh! pada round pertama dan kedua aku telah berjaya masukkan bola ke dalam longkang. hingga ke roung keenam, aku masih berada pada posisi bawah sekali dikalahkan oleh adik kita, abah, mama. abah kita baling bola tak boleh belah. dia macam main lontar peluru tau tak. bergegar satu tempat bowling tu. hishh abah dasyat. haha. dan pada round terakhir, aku telah berjaya merangkul tempat ketiga. yeah! haha adik aku kalah jugak. mule beria jatuhkan 9 pin sekali gus. pirahh. haha

Masuk je tempat bowling, rase nak gelek-gelek je badan seab kat atas tu ade bebola bekilauan. haha

Adik kita yang mendapat tempat terakhir. ohh haah, dia ade terlepas bola mase nak swing bola dia ke depan. haha. padan muke bengang. baha!

Mama dapat second, yeah! pertama kali main tuh. terer terer.

Selepas menjamu diri dengan bowling, mama kita mulalah merambangkan mata dia dengan kedai-kedai pakaian wanita kat sana. haihh. dan setelah tunggu selama hampir 2 JAM kat kedai yang sama, kita ade lahh amik beberape gambar. ishh gambar lagi! ha tengok la korang.

dan berakhirlah trip jalan-jalan kat danga city mall kali ini. ahah lepas tu kami ade pergi ke drivethru McD. terase perut kami semua berkeroncong sekali lagi. haha
